ACCESS
There is a Nest smart lock on the front door. Your code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number. This will only activate at 4:00 pm on your check in day or unless housekeeping lets us know the house is ready early.
Unlocking the door using your Door Code.
1. Press the Yale circle on the screen to activate the keypad
2. Enter your 4 digit PIN (the last 4 digits of your phone number)
3. Press the checkmark on the bottom of the keypad (lock will then automatically unlock)
Locking the Door (when going to dinner, shopping, etc.):
1. Press the Yale circle on the screen and the door will automatically lock.
2. Do not lock the door using the handle from the inside - only use the Nest.
Note: Several incorrect entries of a PIN cause the Lock to shut down for 1 minute.

GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Trash and recycling cans are located on the side of the house. They both should be placed out to the street Monday night and brought back to the house by Tuesday night. Please make sure all garbage is in bags and tied closed and please avoid loose trash or liquids.

LAUNDRY
Laundry is located on the lanai. If washing towels or sheets please do not mix whites and colors. Please shake sand off all laundry before placing it in the washer. Be sure to clean the lint trap on the dryer before and after each use to avoid fire hazards and to increase efficiency.
CHECK IN TIME
Check in is at 4:00 pm.

If it is before 4:00 pm we will do our best to have the house ready for you.
Otherwise plan on access at 4:00 pm or upon your arrival.

The electronic lock will not open prior to your scheduled check-in time.

We ask that you respect this time frame which allows our cleaners to have the home ready for you. It is important that our maintenance and housekeeping staff are not disturbed from their duties.

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY. This property is located in a mixed use neighborhood that includes short term guests and year-round residents. Please be considerate and respectful of neighboring properties and their rights to privacy and quiet enjoyment. Sound carries, especially on or near the ocean. Do not trespass or use items or amenities belonging to another property.

NO DISCHARGING OF FIREARMS or FIREWORKS

Fires are not allowed on the beach or anywhere on the property.

The person making the reservation for the rental assumes full responsibility (legally and financially) for the actions of all quests occupying such rental home.

Pets/animals are NOT allowed in your rental at any time unless prior approval is given. This applies to anyone in your group, including visitors. Bringing a pet/animal into a non-pet-friendly rental can result in eviction without refund and additional charges to your credit card for cleaning and damages.
TURTLE INFORMATION
The orange markers on the beach are turtle nests. It is unlawful to disturb them. Manasota Key also has an ordinance that there can be no lights visible from the beach after dark. Please pull curtains or close shades and keep all exterior lights off. Landscape lighting is ok. The authorities are very serious about sea turtle protocol and will issue you fines if the rules are not followed.

PARKING
Feel free to park anywhere in the driveway. Please do not park in the vacant lot next door or on the street.
WHAT IS PROVIDED

Bath towels, hand towels, and beach towels are also included and located in the bedroom closets or bathrooms

Beach chairs and umbrella

A small bottle of dish soap and dish detergent to get you started as well as a dish towel and a dish sponge

Silverware, dishes, pots and pans

Sample size soaps and shampoos in bathrooms, starter set/one set per bathroom

Two rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom

One roll of paper towels
-
Trash can liner and an extra under the sink

A few laundry pods and dryer sheets to get you started

A variety of salt, pepper, spices, oil etc. for cooking
GRILLE
We have a charcoal grill for you to use in the back of the house.
We ask that you help us by cleaning the grill after your use.
TELEVISION
Television is available through Samsung TV Plus. You are also welcome to sign into any of your own accounts using the apps on the Samsung Smart TVs, such as Netflix or Max.
AC AND HEAT
The house is equiped with central heat and air. The thermostat is located in the living room near the hallway. If you need assistance on how to operate please let us know.
Adjust heat and air to a temperature you find comfortable but not more than two degrees at a time or unit may stop working or go into emergency mode. If this happens and the unit stops working, turn unit completely off (for two hours for air conditioning). If still not working, call us for service and we will do our best to get someone there as soon as possible.
